You know that feeling you get when you listen to your favorite song, eat your favorite food, or wear that outfit that makes you feel like you can conquer the world? Yeah… I get that feeling when I pick up my camera to photograph a wedding.
WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT?
When it comes to weddings, I’ve been around the block both professionally and personally. I’ve been photographing weddings for 9 years, and in addition to planning my own wedding, I’ve recently helped my two dear friends plan theirs. I know how much work and thought goes into planning even the simplest celebration, and I also know that things don’t always go as planned. On a wedding day, I excel at anticipating what will happen next and going with the flow.
I’m not going to bore you with all the technical knowledge I have about photography, but I do want to express that my experience and knowledge gives me the confidence and ability to shoot in any lighting condition. Yes, I prefer and utilize natural light as much as possible, but there are many situations that warrant the use of flash or artificial light, and I am ready for that.
I’m not building my portfolio… I have one already. What this means is that I’m focused on what I would want a photographer to capture at my own wedding: the laughs, the moments, the reactions, and your love. I’m not shooting for myself - I’m shooting for YOU. A wedding day goes by so very fast, and my job is to capture those moments that you may not remember or even realize are happening.
And lastly, I love accentuating the beautiful color of real life. So, my editing style is clean and timeless. I want the pictures of your wedding to still look beautiful after 5, 20, and even 50 years.
PRICING AND HOW TO BOOK
Full-day wedding collections begin at $2899, include 8 hours of wedding coverage by 2 photographers, an engagement session, an online photo gallery to share with family/friends, and all of the final, professionally-edited images on a custom USB drive with keepsake box. If you like my style and what you’ve read so far, let’s talk! Contact me to see if I’m available for your date. If I’m available and we’re the right fit, all I need to reserve your date is a signed contract and 30% down. We can easily do this in person or online, whichever you prefer!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you’ve booked, that date is reserved completely for you on my calendar; I don’t schedule anything else that day (and usually, the entire weekend). We’ll discuss and schedule the best time and location for your engagement session… let’s go somewhere meaningful for you as a couple or just a beautiful setting; there’s a lot of options! About 1-2 months prior to the wedding, I will send you a questionnaire that will go over all the details of the big day. I’m also available as a resource or sounding board anytime in between! Do you need vendor recommendations or assistance with the timeline? I am happy to help with that too!
The remaining balance of your collection price will be due 15 days prior to the wedding date. I prefer to have the completed questionnaire around this time as well. On the day of the wedding, I will arrive a little early to scope things out and get my equipment ready. For most weddings, I’m there from the time you start getting ready, and I stay through all the traditional moments of the reception.
After the wedding, I immediately back up your images to multiple locations while I work on them. I know you will be so excited to see your images, and I will post a few previews within a few days after your wedding! I then go through the rest of the images and hand-edit each image to be the best it can be. When I’ve finished editing all of your images, I will send you a link to your online gallery, which can be shared with all your friends & family! You will also receive a beautiful custom flash drive and keepsake box. All other products, such as canvases, prints, albums, etc, will be designed and ordered at that time as well.
